Everyone has heard of the movie “The Polar Express,” that was released in 2004. This movie uses incredibly motion- capturing animation to create a story that has thrilled and delighted children and adults of almost any age.

“The Polar Express,” was originally a children’s storybook, and was written by Chris Van Allsburg in the mid 1980’s. It tells the story of a young boy trying to solve the mystery of Santa Clause. The young boy has quite an adventure traveling from his own bedroom, all the way to the North Pole, and all of this takes place on the Polar Express Train.

Now not only can you buy the book and the movie, but you can also buy your own model Polar Express Train. Some models do not look all that much like the original, and are therefore cheaper. However, there are other models of the Polar Express train that are sculpted to look as close to the original, making them relatively more expensive. From the train's unique whistle, and the candy and chocolate shop, to the faces in the windows.
